Country specific special characters with the ALT alt button
If you don't want to switch your keyboard in each country-specific special characters, you simply make use of the ALT key in combination with numbers keys on the keypad to select the desired characters correctly.
Here is an overview of the necessary 3 number combination for the most common special characters. Following procedure:
1. Enable Num Lock on your keyboard
2. Hold down the ALT key (left Alt key)
3. Enter the desired number combination
