The pathway to a new job is changing. Most applications are still made on the PC for sending the documents by e-mail or in a application folder by post. But apps for smartphones are already on the way, promising to make the entire application process faster and more direct.
The big advantage: almost everyone has always their smartphone at hand. And in order to find the best candidates for a position quickly, companies and agencies want to make it as easy as possible for applicants. For this reason, companies and employment agencies are relying more and more on mobile recruiting.
The functionality of the apps offered can be very different and is constantly being expanded. They help with the creation of the résumé and make the applicant profile known in the career networks. The apps also help the HR departments to quickly check the applicant profile on the Internet, in social media and networks. If it becomes specific and it is heading towards a job interview, the processes become more and more common to the usual procedure.

1. Since more and more job interviews are being conducted digitally via video conference programs, candidates should always do a test run. On the one hand, to assess how you appear in front of the webcam: speaking, gesturing and the environment. And secondly, to check whether the technology and transmission are working properly.
